MF 390 electrical problems

Finnished combining at 11.00 tonight and walking back accross the yard saw the masey lights were on..thinking " Bloody kids"...Found the keys in my pocket and everything was switched off yet all the lights were on.
Havent had a chance to look at it yet and just took the battery lead off ......I thought this was worthy of a post...What can it be..????

G'day lights are usually hard wired i.e live all the time regardless of key position i would suggest possibly a faulty switch easy way to check is to pull the plug off the back of the switch

Not in this case ,Everyting goes off with the key on this tractor...?
