Did you get the tractor with the combining valve for the loader/2 PT hydraulics? Do you have any pics?

I looked at the JDs too but the Massey was a better buy for me It wasnt quite as fancy but it came standard with two hydraulic spools and stock is almost as heavy as my brothers 5300 JD.

Jordanbear_The reason I ask about the PS : on my 1235 when I have my FEL on I can hardly turn my wheels unless the tractor is moving, when the bucket is loaded it gets worse. It also gets worse after the tractor has been running at speed for an hour or so. The 1235 is 25 PTOHP. and only weighs in at about 2500#. The removable side covers on the engine rattle at RPM's lower than 1200.

BER - nope, no rattling, and the only thing I did notice about the FEL is if it's not warmed up, and the bucket is full of something, raising it while tilting it is slow. It will do it, but it prefers to do one thing (raise/lower or tilt) at a time.

The FEL does not at all afffect the PS. You can steer with a finger pretty much all the time (whoops, not that one ever would try such a thing - hands firmly on the wheel at all times!) /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Jordanbear Does you 451 loader have the larger loader cylinders? usually larger cylinders will give slower cycle times. How is it if you do one thing at a time?

I'll have to look at the cylinders - since I only have the one tractor, not sure how I'd compare them to something else. They are a quick attach/release sort - the rear ones are like this too. It's a press fit. The attachments are just shy of an inch in diameter.

If I do one thing at a time it's just fine.
