MF 451 CLUTCH PEDAL

WHEN I DEPRESSED THE CLUTCH PEDAL, SOMETHING MADE A NOISE AND THE PEDAL WONT RETURN TO THE PROPER HEIGHT. I STILL HAVE SOME TRAVEL, BUT NOT ENOUGH TO RELEASE THE CLUTCH. ALL THE LINKAGE VISABLE SEEMS FINE. I CAN'T FIND ANY INTERNAL LINKAGE IN MY PARTS MANUAL.

Before looking to more involved causes, verify proper adjustment of pedal free travel. The procedure is in your owners manual and can be done externally. It is possible that the shaft has slipped in the clamp.

When you say you heard a noise leads me to believe it was one quick noise and not a constant noise.

Can you describe the noise.
was is a constant noise that continued while the pedal was pushed in or
did you hear it one time when you pressed it in.
