MF-533 Grill Guard

I bought a new MF-533 last weekend but passed on the MF grill guard because the dealer priced it to me at $235. Apparently he must order it through the parts department as a spare part for the FEL package.

The newer MF small utility tractors use a different front axle than the older ones like the 35, 135, 245, etc. Aftermarket grill guards for these tractors are easy to find as they also fit older Fords.

Anyone know of a source for a reasonably priced grill guard for the 2WD 5 series tractors?

I don't know anywhere except the dealer where you can buy a grill guard for your tractor. You can design a much better grill guard than the factory makes. I would suggest that you have one made. Most welding shops in rural areas are used to building grill guards. If you don't want to leave the design up to them, draw a design up or print off a picture from here on TBN for them to go by.

I kind of expected that answer but thought I'd ask the experts.

I'm no welder and would not have the time to make one if I was but may take your advice and hire it done.
