I have a 1961 203 diesel that I bought 4 years ago and it’s required some work, but all in all it has been a great machine. It has a pretty strong hoe on the back that gets used the most. This past weekend I went and picked up another tractor… I think it is a yellow industrial 65 there is no plate on it. It turns over but tank and glass bowl bone dry. Farmer said he saw some fuel by an injector on the block so parked it in 2014. There she was, so I dragged it and the wife got a big surprise when she came home from the store. It cranked but I figured worst case it will be good for parts.brakes not engaging, clutch dosent seem to budge, tire leak. I really hope it will start… anyone know what year it is? Is shuttle shift a good, how’s this compare to the workbull

Is that red radiator grill solid steel? I thought they were usually perforated metal for air flow?
All in all it looks like a nice project.

The grill has tiny round dot perforations, no power steering is a bummer though. Haven’t had time to work on it yet

Very similar in build to my 35 Utility, which is basically a 202 in 35 clothes. The shuttle shift is excellent compared to the normal transmission. Clutch, slap the lever into reverse, let out on clutch and you're in whatever gear you want but reverse. I don't recommend third gear high reverse. :scary:

My cousin has a 202 Workbull, and when it comes to loader work, my 35 Utility with the shuttle shift will out perform in terms of speed. By a long shot. I just pick whatever gear suits the work I'm doing and go, I don't have to constantly shift out of gear, to reverse, back to whatever gear.

so the clutch Pedel has very little movement seems internally bound up.. is there an inspection port or anything on the dry side of the clutch? I see a 4 bolt plate there but that has to be on the wet side Gears.

Under the machine there is a four bolt inspection plate. Remove that and you can see the clutches. It'll be just behind where the motor bolts to the transmission.
