MF 65
I'm fixing to work on the 3 point lift of my 1958 MF 65. Dad was blading snow and one tire started to spin, then caught traction. When it caught he heard a something pop. The result was the 3 point hitch will not operate in either direction. When I drive the tractor I can hear a clinking sound from under the seat area. The lift arms pulse up and down slightly in conjunction with the clinking, as if riding over gear teeth. If I physically hold up on the lift arms while he drives the tractor, the clinking stops. I haven't had this tractor long and don't know much about it. Through reading I think it may have the same pump as the MF 35. I want to do the work myself but I'm gonna need some advice. BTW didn't take long to decide, I love this tractor. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
