Woodbeef and any other knowledgable one, I suppose you know where this 81xx series or 8160 model of MF tractor is being manufactured. Where is it? I have searched the net, but unable to find its manufacturing location. Is it Brazil?
What (other) series is close to this 81xx series? Engine?
Thanks in advance. Ps: AGCO' MF main web site isn't listing this series and I know Uzel of Turkey isn't manufacturing it.

Uzel does not have any contracts left with AGCO. The word is Uzel had to have some government loans to meet its obligations. The steel increases have hurt many companies ability to do business.

The 8200 series replaced the 8100. The 8200 is built in Beauvais, France.

Hey Nomad,

The 81xx series of Massey has not been built for a few years now. They are from Beauvais France,and have a Sisu engine. Besides Valtra and Massey Ferguson,Steyr also uses Sisu engines in tractors.

ZJ, this "Efsane" has been the best selling tractor and still popular here. Was this show in your picture in Crotia?

No, that picture is from EIMA in Bologna, November 2003.
This is not MF based tractor, or am I wrong? It looks more like CUT.

ZJ, it is a MF with 3 cyl. Perkins/ AD 3.152 engine. Also known as MF 240S. The name "Efsane" was added later because it was the best selling tractor of MF here in Turkey some years ago and Uzel added a name "Efsane". This "Yagmur" name on the tractor in your picture must be a distributor's name in Istanbul. I don't have its brochures in English. Their Efsane page in English must be somewhere here www.uzeltraktor.com - Are you a tractor dealer?
