Clipse3GT, I just talked with Maibach Tractor and I think they mentioned your purchase to me on the phone. Did you just get it delivered the last couple days? Are you in the Gates Mills area?

If so, can you share what the the final numbers come out to be with your build?

I'm looking at buying Maibach's in-stock 1710TLB with 60" drive over MMM, and front mounted snowblower. No one else within 200 miles seems to have any stock of the 1710s or 1720s. I'm also talking with Java in western NY but they are 90 miles east of me and they don't have stock and will have to "get" one from another dealer if I commit to buying one through them.

Here is what i've gotten from my Northeast Ohio area:

With Maibach I was quoted:
$16750 for a 1710TLB
$2500 for mmm
$3400 for front blower
So $22650 - cash price (plus sales tax). I'm waiting on numbers for the 0%/84 special.

With Java I was quoted :
$18432 for the 1710TLB
$20,139 for the 1720TLB
$2566 for the 2326 60" deck
$3774 for the 2360 snowblower
So $24772 plus $160 delivery and no sales tax on the 1710
and $26479 plus $160 delivery and no sales tax on the 1720

Just butting in with a quick question . . do your prices include a 3rd function or diverter to countrol a chute on the snowblower ?

For a chute or other none priority things a diverter valve will suffice. Its more of pain with the 10/20 due to the backhoe and running hoses back and forth for a true 3rd function my dealer looked into it. Lots of extra works on these units. I think just for angulation and chute etc... you can get by just fine with a momentary diverter valve to operate it for a few seconds.

On the front end snowblower I have yet to price out the hydraulic chute option, but I think I need to. As for the diverter valve, why would one be needed for the snowblower? Wouldn't the hydraulic chute rotator option use the existing FEL hookups like the lift mechanism?

You end up using one of loader circuits to raise/lower the blower, the second circuit for chute rotation, then you would need a 3rd function or diverter for hydraulic chute deflection.

Have you checked with whites farm supply in Atwater Ohio.............that's not to far from you !

MF offers hydraulic lift standard. Manual rotation and deflector standard. They have released a hydraulic rotation kit now. It is fairly new. They have had electric rotation and deflection for some time as an option. We just installed a front mount blower on a GC1715 with a all steel Curtis cab. It was a lot of wiring and work with wipers, lights, heater, rotation and deflection, but made a real nice unit.

I have the electric chute deflector & rotator option on my 2310 (2360 blower), and it works well. Once every few years, however, I have to disassemble the chute deflector's linear actuator to clean accumulated moisture out of its gearbox and re-grease it, but that doesn't take long. Very little trouble with the worm-drive rotator. I've been very happy with it overall.

Im also interested in buying a GC1720 in the next few months. Can anyone recommend a dealer within 200 miles of Chicago or Northwest Indiana?
