OK, so I have a deep well. Over 700' and 250' to water.
I have an outbuilding about 250' away from home, and about 50' in rise above home.
I ran 1" PEX type tubing up to the out building, ending in a Yard Spigot. About halfway up, also placed another yard spigot.
I teed into the line from well to house.
I only have usable pressure when the well pump is running. When it is running, pressure is great. When it is not running, just a dribble. Since there is a check valve between the outside of the house (where the tee is) and the pressure switch, the pressure never really drops.
I think I know the solution to my problem, but I don't like it.
I have to tie into the house water, after the pressure tank, or tie in a jet pump for the line. Am I right in that assumption?
