I just inheirted a MF1030 , I would like info about tractor,can it handle a 5ft brush hog? what oil should Iuse in this diesel engine?

Welcome to the forum. The tractor should handle a 5 foot brush hog easily. I think I use 15w30 in my Massey 1020. Be sure you get the oil for diesel engines.

Thanks,I need A lot of info about this tractor !!!!!! I am a newbe to tractors and when my uncle passed away I got this tractor.The family sold all the equipment but he wanted me to have the tractor ,it is nice little tractor with 688hrs he got it new in1986 seems like low hours? took good care it but when his health got bad family left it out in weather now paint going bad,would like to repaint and put new decals,where can I get them from?any help would be great THANKS

688 hours is a low hour tractor. My 1020 has over 4500 hours on the original engine, no rebuilds only proper maintenance and adjustments. Take a look at the attached thread.
