My 135 is a Continental gas 4 cyl, in low range have hauled some pretty good sized logs out of the woods, moved moutains of snow and horse manure around our property.
One thing to consider is I can go to any dealership in my area, regardless of color, and order pretty much anything I need. If that doesn't work out about every fourth house has one in the back yard.:laughing:
I don't think the axles on either machine, assuming the Ford is 2wd, are substantial enough to take any heavy FEL work, depends on what you plan to use the loader for. Looked at putting a loader on mine, decided with the 4.5 gpm flow and limitation of the front axle that it wouldn't be worth the investment for what I'd need it for.
