I have been lurking for a few weeks. I just recently bought 8+ acres. It is relatively flat with small trees. I have been reading up on the different tractors in the 25-30 hp range and think I want a 4wd,hydro,fel,box blade, and 6' RFM. I was quoted $15,600 for a 1528hst with FEL. $450 for Modern box, and $1495 for Modern 6' RFM.
total $17545

I could also get a Mahindra 2615hst with the same implements for $16265.

These prices sound right?

I was quoted $17,900 for a 1528HST in upstate NY. Prices up here are generally quite a bit higher than the lower states, so I'm not sure how useful that is to you. I ended up buying the 1531 since it was only $600 more and a little more power never hurts. I would encourage you to price the 1531 if you're already looking at the hydro.

Sorry, that price was for the tractor and FEL. I did end up getting a bunch of other stuff and the price on the package got a bit of a discount, but not that much.

I ended up with the tractor, FEL, 5' Woods box blade, 5' Woods brush hog, and the Massey front blade. I don't remember what the total price was offhand, or maybe I've blocked it out
