MF1531 vs a green tractor

Looked at the MF 1531 and a competitive green tractor today. Both very nice, although the Massey is a couple grand less. Both will suit my needs, but the MF would allow me to get some other things like a log splitter and a chipper for the cash savings. Question is this, how does a Massey hold its value when compared to the green one? If I traded it in 3 years from now, would it hold it's own, value wise, like the green ones do?

That is one of those things that depends on the area. I know in the area that I live MF will hold there own against any of the other brands. Another way to look at is that the higher priced tractor should bring more because you had to pay more for it. Get the MF 1531 and those implements with the $2k that you saved and then enjoy it.
