John Deere 2210
Hey ya all.....I'm trying to find some help for my John Deere 2210. It's been the greatest little tractor, but yesterday it just quit on me and I get nothing when i try to start it. No fuses blown, battery terminals clean but nothing. Im thinking it may be one of those wonderful safety switches but dont know where to look for all of them or how to jump them. Anyone got any ideas. Where can I get a techical repair manual? Thanks for your help... Enjoy the early summer break.. Phil

Welcome to TBN!!!

Your Operator Presence Switch (seat switch) is below your seat...since your engine isn't even cranking, a safety switch is a good possibility. There's also a neutral safety switch down by your hydro pedals. You might try jiggling those hydro pedals with your feet as you try starting.
As far as a service manual, your Deere dealer is your best bet. The CD-ROM version is cheaper.

I'm sure you've checked to make sure the PTO switch is off and the shifter is in neutral, right?

(Don't ask me how I know about this, it's a little embarrasing.......made me feel "extra" smart when I realized what the problem was.)

Welcome to TBN, Roy and GGB pretty well have it covered if you have eliminated the battery and cables.

Your problem is clearly your home state.

Go BUCKS! :p

Fuel solenoid?

Fuel solenoid?

All the other suggestions are equally valuable but this too makes sense-assume there is a relay and fuse for this? A tech told me one time to pull and reset associated fuses/relays.
