I got mine at Aeschliman Equipment Whitmore Lake MI. The place looks run down but they are OK people it seems.

My XJ is also from Aeschliman equipment. They have taken good care of me and I would recommend them. Their prices are in line with what RCO Tractor advertises online. They have regular hours, a full time shop staff and a good inventory of new tractors.

Has anyone dealt with Mower Zone in Danville, IN or Tri-County tractor in Russiaville?

I've heard Mower Zone's service can be questionable... has me concerned about buying LS.

Were they pretty good to deal with? I've considered taking the trip over there. It's a little over an hour from me so was trying to decide if it was worth the trip.

I guess it's a matter of perspective but I get a bit of a giggle when people ask about a trip 'a little over an hour'. dern near everything is 'a little over an hour' for many of us. My closest real grocery store and gas station is close to an hour, closer to 40 minutes really. The farm type stores and department stores are all nearly an hour no matter which direction I go. My LS dealer is around 80 miles, but there are a number of other stores and businesses I can stop at to make the trip a bit more productive.

In short, if considering a $20,000.00 purchase, an hour to me is like a walk to the corner for many of you.

I have no problem driving the distance. I just didnt want it to be like the last Ls dealer I drove over an hour to see. Was a car mechanic trying to sell tractors. When I asked about getting the third function installed he acted like it would be an absolute pain for him to deal with.

So just didn't want to waste my time with a repeat dealer experience.

I think that Tri-county tractor in Russaville is closed. I have been there twice and found nothing. There is a dealer in Frankfort, Indiana. Phoenix lawn and garden.

have been doing business with Tom Smith tractor since they opened, first with Tom senior, and now with tom Jr. always treated right and Senior was a good friend Jr is and always will be a friend. I have two tractors that i purchased there. You will not regret doing business with Tom.

+1 for Paul at Superior Farm in MONTPELIER OH. He痴 no frills, down to earth, will consider negotiation, appears truthful and seems decent. I had an issue with a big distributor in Arkansas where I purchased my tractor. I feel Paul is bending backwards to make things right. In fact, it痴 because of him I知 trading in my tractor AND buying a backhoe!
