I looked at the Tractor Barn home page and down at the bottom where it says CTOA(Chinese Tractor Owners Association)it depicts a John Deere tractor,the tractor should be Red, for Red China,not an American founded tractor picture on a communist made tractor page./w3tcompact/icons/sad.gif

You can get them in red, yellow, blue, and green, and probably other colors as well. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif You may want to thourghly check your next tractor purchase. I have heard that many are starting to use parts made in China. Just like many items that are found in every household.

I am not disputing that Chinese stuff is everywhere and they probably are good tractors as well,it just looks kinda of cheap to advertise a Chinese tractor and use a Green and Yellow tractor for an image on their page (which everyone knows is a John Deere color).
But I do have a problem with buying Chinese,the way the goverment operates and their human rights record are etc.
Just my opinion.

The Chinese Tractor Owners Association is for all the different brands of Chinese tractor owners, dealers, and prospective buyers. The tractor image is probably only a "general" tractor image. Not meant to represent any particular brand. It is a "boxy" style tractor, represenative of many Chinese brands. Jinma come in green, along with the Dongfeng Avengers and maybe others.

I believe in the future you will find it hard to hold to your convictions, with so many companies clamoring for the lower cost labor pool. If not made there, some of parts or assemblies will be.

I can't argue with what you say(nor do I want to /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif),I heard Rush Limbaugh say:"Red China was the biggest manufacturer of American Flags".In my opinion its an ever changing World,and we are surely going towards a one World Economy.

Without a doubt, we are moving in that direction. How many parts in your computer are from mainland China? Not just Taiwan. I've watched that industry just get eaten up by the Asian manufacturing enterprises. As far as color, you may have a point but no one here or at the CTOA is trying to mis-represent anything.

Deere is currently producing tractors in China under their name as a joint venture with a Chinese company. I'll try to find the link when I have some time.
