I see there is one difference in the people in the new group... thin skin... Heck... if we yanmar people walked away from every discussion we disagreed with... the group would have died along time ago...
I don't mind disagreeing, and I'm perfectly fine with 'agreeing to disagree'

If the rest of the threads are going to fizzle out this way, I think I'll make the 'swim' back over to the group when yehaa finishes mauling it...

Speaking of colors, who does have a new/better color combination for tractor colors? Have all the good combos been used up?

Not that it is a 'new' combo, but the red tractors look fairly nice. Lets see... case/ih/international did this... massey ferguson.. some early fords used red.... for asian tractors... some yanmars were red.. and mahindra's are red.. sort of a case/massey look. The jinmas go as red when they are labeled as a nortrak tractor....
I havn't seen a white color combo in a while? iseki? bolens?

It is way off the original topic, anyway. Best to let it go. I myself find the topic of color interesting. We look at things from what we are accustomed to indentifing it with. Yellow schoolbus, yellow bulldozer, red fire truck, off-white computers, along with red or green tractors. While most do come in other colors, in general most people will identify a color automaticly when you say bullozer, tractor, or whatever. In my case, I can't say with 100% certainty that my preference has not been influenced by what I was accustomed to. When I hear the word tractor, the colors blue, yellow, orange, etc would not jump out in my mind. Now brand marketers would certainly want their name to be associated with a particular color object and would defend that turf to keep it so. Anyhow, will leave it for another thread, on another day.

PS: Have a Pepsi on me! Yes, the blue can cola!

How about red and gray ala OSU or Maize and Blue ala UM. Maybe we could get school sponsorship for certian models of tractors. Or get corporate sponsorship, hmmmm a red and black Jinma, official tractor of Carlings Black Label, or red white and blue the PBR tractor. Sorry all, just feeling a bit silly and too much time on my hands this evening.

Red and grey.. that would be similar to the ford / fordson 8n / 2n / 9n , etc.. looked good to me...
