microsoft power toys? pic resizer.. vista?

I remember downloading this and installing it on my xp-based laptop.. had to run out and get a vista laptop for work and now can't 'resize' pics.

can't rememebr where on the MS i found the pic resizer.. anyone got a link?

and does the resizer work for vista?

May not be what you were looking for but IMO this is one of the most handly picture viewer/resizer/etc around. Has been on every computer I've had for the better part of last 10 yrs. I have it running on my laptop with Vista 32bit OS.

As far as i know MS powertoys wont wirk in vista only XP.

Vista has a built in compresssion utility in "Photo Gallery" under email, but i find its a little "clunky"

If you have MS office installed, as most do, you should have Office picture Manager, in your start menu, under Microsoft office> Microsoft office tools.

Thats the program i use to compress and do minor changes such as contrast and crop. Its UI is a little clunky, but it works, and its handy.

Yep.. too bad the power toys won't work.. it was easy and worked good.. just like xp.. completely unlike viste..

Image Resizer Powertoy Clone for Windows--sorry I don't have a link, but I think you could find it by Googling. It works in Vista exactly like the original worked in XP (right click on the image etc.) Hope this helps--Regards, Mike

I'm using PIXresizer 2.0.3 from Bluefive software with Windows Vista and I see they now have version 2.0.4.
