Being that Rick Wallace (on this site) has just changed from Kioti to Bobcat, he might be the person to ask. Send him a message or call.

There is a thread here somewhere and I remember that Kioti did not make a mid mount mower and the ones they used to make were a pain in the butt. I would ask Michigan Iron, they advertise on here and a re very helpful re this kind of question.

I asked this same question a while back and never got a response. Hope you have better luck than I did. There is a rental yard about three miles from my house that rents Bobcats with mid mowers need to visit them and take some measurements.

I am pretty sure they will go right on...I have some mowers on order and once they get here I will confirm it.

well i bought the bobcat 54in mid mount mower and it bolts right up no problem. i dont know if this is true but my dealer said it is a better mower than what kioti offers. i couldnt imagine a wider deck as this one bogs down my ck20 in high gear with the slightest increase in grade. hope this helps others out.

You do not have to have an implement on your CK20 HST to bog it down going up a hill in high gear. Mine won't go up my driveway in high gear. It appears that high is strictly a road gear. Every body who has one seems to be griping about not having a mid range on the 20hst

I have the 66" bobcat mid mount deck, worst design ever in my opinion in today's market place

Tell me why??
I don't want any upset customers.
What seems to be the down falls?

1.) the side shoot for the grass discharge is a non fold up rubber cut horse stall mat
2.) the hit adjustment hangs off the back via a plate pinned to the draw bar which must remain extended
3.) there is no height adjustment well there is but in the highest position ie on "4" the grass pretty much gets scalped all the time, setting it to any thing lower would be disastrous.
4.) the height adjustment is done via a pin on the back of the tractor
5.) the height adjust scoop bracket as I call it is about 1" from the ground so with the mower attached you have zero clearance for anything.

I'll take some photos of the setup tonight and post

Thank you for the replies and the pictures.
Once I hang one and mow with it I can get a better understanding.
I will also take your concerns to Bobcat. If you have any other thing you want to mention please Pm me and I will make sure to address them with Bobcat also.

well i do agree with you on the fact that the hieght adjustment hangs down like a ripper but mine isnt an inch off the ground. mine is as high as the deck can possibly go, so i would hit my deck anyways. the rubber discharge flap is nice for me because if it was anything but rubber it would be snapped off or bent.

Do you cut in any other position other than F though?

Wow -- I have the DMM-60 deck (Italian made, possibly del-marino since I think it's over $2500 new and Del Marino's aren't cheap as far as I know). Hmmm -- maybe that is what the DM means in DMM -- Del Marino Mower 60 Inch.

Anyway -- the mount on the 3 point is MUCH less "invasive" IMHO than the bobcat. Height adjustment is done with pins at the 3 wheels -- the two caster wheels on each side and the dual wheel set at center rear of the deck.

Rick -- if I remember I can scan the blowup diagrams of my mounting mechanism. You certainly can't do a hoe and deck at the same time, but I'm quite sure you can do a hoe with the deck removed w/o removing the extra hardware on the 3 point arms etc.

My deck goes on and off w/ 6 simple pins -- I can do it 5 minutes. If I had a hoe, I wouldn't mind removing the deck to put hoe on etc. I wouldn't want to dig w/ the deck on anyway.

My only complaint about my MMM is having to horse 350 lbs of deck around w/ only caster wheels on the front. The rear wheels have to drag a bit to get the deck out.

Also -- I use the top 2 cutting heights. Top one for normal cut during hot new england summer and then I go down one for the fall and winter final cut so my grass is short for the winter.

Here's a link to my lawn at the old house. Looks like a golf course.

Post with pictures of DMM-60 cut lawn

On the bogg thing -- yes if you have the deck going and going up a decent grade the hill + mower will make RPMs drop off. I just adjust the HST pedal accordingly as I cut. Going flat in low range I can cut w/ pedal all the way down and no amount of heavy grass stops the deck.

A lot of guys aren't fans of the MMM and prefer RFM, but I am very happy with my deck and would not want to trade it for zero turn, walk behind, or lawn tractor!
