Mid Mount PTO Shaft, L3010

Anyone know if the mid mount PTO shaft for an L3010 is availabe from someone other than a Kubota dealer. Is the spline config standard such that someone else is making it?

I have access to a pressure washer pump, no engine. I am thinking of bolting it to a plate, hanging the plate of the MMM attachment points and driving it off the MM PTO. Pump wants 1725 RPM. No problem, just throttle down to 86% of PTO RPM. It wants 7.5 HP, should have enough umph for it. 4.0 gpm, 3,000 psi.

I like not having another engine, no cart to store in floor space, etc. Just need a PTO shaft. Also eliminates anyone wanting to borrow it!

Thoughts?

I have mounted a pump as you describe. Works good. I am not sure about the PTO output shaft size on your tractor, but Tractor supply will probably have the drive shaft components you need.

Slowrey, thanks, yeah, they might. Not sure if the Kubota spline is an odd ball or not. And I don't have a TSC near buy. Only my dealer. Probably not the cheapest place for drive shaft parts.
