I think you need to add some clarity Eric, so there's no misunderstanding.

I see your point. The split driveshaft yokes should be at 90 degrees from the output and pinion yokes. In other words, both yokes on either end of the driveshaft should be on the same plain.

Thanks for that video. I've read many times that the driveshaft angles should be the same but never understood why, until watching that video.
Ya, me too. It doesn't make sense until you see things speeding up & slowing down like that. I'd assumed it was problematic about range of motion or something before I saw that a while back. Easy to see how that speeding up & down every rotation would wreck things badly quickly.
