Mid whiffle

I thought that this must be another photoshop job, but according to the experts I m wrong and this bird is in mid whiffle.

I've seen Canada Geese do that - they twist and suddenly drop about 5 feet in altitude and slow down. It usually means they're coming down quick to land. I've never taken a picture of it, though.

We see this all the time hunting snow geese in SK. Don't know how a bird can fly when it's head is level and it's body is turned upside down 180 degrees. It is a sight to see.

This almost always happens when they are losing massive quantities of altitude. Almost impossible to hit when they are doing this. It's kind of like slipping an airplane to lose altitude quickly. Amazing, simply amazing.
