Interesting... must have been a system crash yesterday... now I'll have to reenter my response...
Sorry for the delay in responding.... but my eldest daughter is getting married in a week, so I have not had any seat time lately... /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
I did receive the replacement tips and have talked to Ted Corriher about the best way to install them. Seems the tips are supposed to be pressed on, with the small holes in the tip brackets mating with knobbies on the shanks. Ted said to use a torch to heat up the existing tips to expand them and knock them off. Then heat the new ones and hammer them into place in the knobbies.
Seems that the shanks on mine do not have the knobbies and the existing tips are tack welded to the shanks. The remnents of the tack are present on the front of the shank. I think I will have the new ones solidly welded in place. Big rocks are a major crop here in New England.

I will say that I am exceedingly pleased with the personal customer service from the entire Corriher Implement staff. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
