I got a good look at my father in law's W/H over the weekend. It's not the exact same one, but similar. It has the 8 HP Kohler K181, but with a starter/generator setup on the flywheel side. It is a 6 speed, being the two range three speed. It does not have the full footboards, only small metal footrests. The grille is the same with those same headlights, and I laughed to see the dash included a factory cigarette lighter. It's muffler just comes straight off the engine through a small pipe. He has the deck and a snow blade for it. He said he bought it about 1968. Kinda just hoping he will leave it to me

Yes, now everything has to be fully electrically and mechanically guarded, and all the controls have to be big, color coded and rounded off like they were made by Little Tykes
