Miller 625 X-Treme Plasma Cutter vs. any other similar units?

Could not agree with you more. Numbers are not everything, however many buyers of welders and plasma equipment simply look at the brochures for performance information.....which is usually listed as amperage and max cut thickness, etc. Looking at the output kW (which many plasma system manufacturers don't even offer) is the best way to compare relative power levels from one system to the other...basically it is a comparison of amperage and load voltage combined.....which is true cut power.

Anyway, thanks for purchasing the Hypertherm unit....I'm sure you will not regret it.

Several years back I did purshing for my co. All welders were Miller and they wonted to but a Miller plasma I had Miller and Hypertherm bring out demos in a side by side test the Hypertherm cut much better thicker faster smother. My personal now is a Hypertherm. Miller may have changed since then but try side by side or take metal to the shops and try them.

I am curious why no one mentions Lincoln's plasma cutters. Are they that inferior to Miller or Hypertherm?
