I called 5 days running, several times a day. No voice mail, just a ringing phone line, no replies to e-mails. I had already just about decided on a WR Long open bottom grapple ( which I ordered), but wanted to double check on shipping times at Millonzi.

Either they are overwhelmed with orders, or problems with management or production, or they all went on vaction and the answering system failed.

Hopefully they get themselves straightened out soon.:)

I ended up going with a WR Long OBG2-54". After seeing both the LD60 and the OBG2-54" up close and I think I ended up with the better unit anyway. Both look very rugged but the welds on the WR Long were much cleaner and it had grease zerks on all the moving parts not to mention the cylinder gaurds on the grapple. There seem to be a lot of people that have a Millonzi and are very happy with them. I hope parts/repairs don't become an issue down the road.

Davey, if you don't mind me asking, what did you give for the LD-60?

$1,554 + shipping, and I am very pleased with it.

I've never heard anyone with any grapple complaining of parts or repair issues. A few of the guys with high end grapples made with high tensile steel have managed to bend unsupported tines which I imagine are a pain to fix but the basic grapples made by Millonzi and WRLong are mild steel and can be heated and beaten back into shape if necessary without much fuss. The hydraulics and pins, bushings etc are all commodity items on these things too. Overall, I am coming to think of grapples much as we all think of "bush hogs"...pretty much indestructible when used properly.

What's the status? Were you able to get in touch with Millonzi company?

Ya what he said. I've been temped to call and just get a price quote, even though I wont be able to buy till September or October. Any chance they have been effected by the heavy rains in the last month or so?

Anybody know what the deal with Millonzi is? I've been trying to contact them for a month with no response. I was wanting to order a LD-60 grapple. Does anyone have a number other than the one on their website? Thanks

I too have been trying to get in touch with them. I finally got an e-mail message from Joe Millonzi, saying that John would get in touch with me, however I haven't received anything from him, and that was 2 days ago. I really like the setup that Island Tractor has and was hoping to duplicate it on my new New Holland. I would be curious if anyone has been able to get in touch with them.

My wife was talking to John a day or so ago. We are looking to have him make us a 48" grapple. He just made us a Quick Attach for the tractor, and modified our existing bucket to work with it.

He is sometimes hard to get in contact with.

What do you have that is equivalent in size (48") and weight (@280 lbs) to the LD-48 that Millionzi manufactures.
