I can't decide. Millonzi is lighter and kind of light duty looking.
300 lb. Width 48"

Markham looks mean, heavy duty and it is 500 lb. Width 40".

My loader LA 513 lift capacity 1100 lb. What would be your thoughts. Help me to decide.
Cleaning the woods will be a main task for it. Not a huge trees, just mainly about 4-5 ". I have a stump bucket already.
Thanks.

If you're talking about a grapple, the Millonzi is plenty rugged. It won't be the first thing to break when you're pushing the limits. As has been remarked, any extra weight works against you at the lift range you're operating.

I also think the Millonzi grapple is a good one, espesially taking into consideration they're latest improvments of making the side plates 1/2" versus the earlier models, and current middle stringers, of 3/8". In fact, after much research, I ordered one last week.

That said there is another thread on this where some folks expressed some concern about follow up and delivery time, broken promises, phone calls not returned, and generally poor customer service & support from Millonzi.
While I'm not perfect either, and I certainly don't want to be too critical of Millonzi I might be experincing the same service level. A little over a week ago when I ordered my grapple and was told it would be shipped in one week, I haven't gotten a phone call that said it was shipped, or to take a flying leap because we don't want your business...I haven't heard anything from them. After reading that other thread, and finding myself in a similar position I have decided to give it one more try w/ a follow call, if they still don't follow through w/ their promise I'll move along and buy a grapple somewhere else.

I have a Markham toothbar. It is super strong and MEAN!. Their service to me was exemplary. They called on time as promised that the item was ready and shipped. Very pleasant and professional. It arrived on time.

No particular refelection on Millzoni. I have not had experience with them.

I agree , Markham service and products ARE excellent!
I have their stump bucket and toothbar, too. My problem is not a manufacturer , my problem is the weight.
Unfortunately 500 lbs. is too much, so I don't have many options.
Thank you guys for your time answering my thread.

I think Millonzi has got wind of the unhappy-customer thread. I bought a 60" grapple from them at the end of Dec. As promised, it was at the terminal in 3 weeks. Several emails and a couple of phone calls from John Millonzi. I had a problem with hose length and they solved it by sending over new ones no questions asked. I'm just guessing they're putting their efforts into engineering right now. Build quality is high - this thing's plenty strong. I don't buy much new, but this was a worthwhile exception.
Of course if you're waiting and eager to use your new tool you might notice time passing more keenly. Since I got the grapple home and welded up some odd QA brackets for my old Ford system, the only thing on the front of the tractor has been a snowplow. Another 8-12" forecast for Saturday, so I guess the grapple will sit in the shop another week. At least my repaint will be good and cured! I'll report back after I've gotten used to using it.

I looked long and hard at the Millonzi, but decided to go with the WR LONG. Not to add any confusion to your search!
