Mind if I slober on your tractor

I'm having someone powerwash my house in preperation for painting. He saw my tractor and said, "Wow, nice machine. Mind if I slober all over it?" He looked it over, paid it a few complements, which the tractor accepted graciously, and went to work.

Even if someone has never been around tractors, by and large they somehow get pleasure out of looking at one. Even if it's a small CUT like mine.

I sometimes wonder if that's an American thing, or if it's universal, but I do seem to spend a lot time watching while others "slober" on my tractor

Cliff I know exactly where you are coming from. Yesterday I was at a fellow TBN members place, (CONVERT) Who also happens to live just down the road from me a bit. The dealer was just delivering and unloading John's brand new TN75 cabbed New Holland with BH & FEL. As I stood there in the rain watching I felt exactly the same excitement racing inside me that I did when they delivered my TC-40D, I was slobbering myself. I'm really happy for John, as he now has a near bullet-proof New Holland that will give him many years of trouble free use.

I think seeing big machinery gets the testosterone flowing in most any tractor loving guy, me included. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif I like the feeling........

I know they like tractors in Germany. I was looking at pictures of a tractor show in Neunkirchen-Seelscheid on Yahoo. Nice old tractors. They had another event that showcased new tractors. Seems as though the farmers live in the town and drive out to their farms to work. Left over ethic of protection for the people in the feudal castle. Last year I bought a dump truck to add to my tractor in the sandbox. I spent 8 years in the military playing with a bunch of my late childhood toys. Now, as I get older, Im starting to play with my early "sandbox" toys. I guess its true that as you get older, you regress further into childhood. Soon Ill be sitting around in my diaper again.

When my 4110 was delivered last winter, I was late meeting the delivery guy. By the time I got there, there were three other pick-up trucks in the driveway. Local farmers chatting up the delivery guy for more info. I see them out in their fields with their big green rigs all the time, but they were drooling down their bib-alls and all over my hood and seat that morning. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
