The major downfall of my business is the my machinery is to specialized. Having a tractor that can do more than drive a mulcher would be a great asset. My thoughts are to have a tractor with 3pt linkage one end and loader arms or blade at the other end would be great along with the option of hiflow hydraulics or PTO. Seeing as you have all most a clean sheet of paper why not make your tractor bidirectional so we can have the best of all worlds? I haven't seen any other manufactures of industrial type tractors do this:licking:
The skidder platform is already bi-directionnal: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dg5rV_dBA-k
We are already having in our basket the loader arm that only needs to fit on the machine. 3point hitch, I have been thinking about replacing the grapple option, when needed, by this set-up. It is easy as the skidder is build as a base platform on which we are installing any tool we may want. so, at first, I could not say that installing a mulcher on the skidder as it is is impossible....it would require a machine to be build, and try to set it up. This could be one interesting way to look at an other implement to the skidder...
