Rake miniature wheel rake

Several years ago I found a company that made a very small wheel rake that could be used with a lawn tractor to windrow grass clippings and leaves. I can't remember the name of the company or where they were located. I'd appreciate someone helping with contact information.

Northern Tool has one. It's a small windrow rake that is made to be pulled by an ATV or lawn tractor. It works much like the bigger rakes for windrowing hay. I couldn't find it on their site, but I'm looking at it in their summer catalog from this past season.

I saw article in Farm Show on the Graetz Mfg "yard and trail rake" which is 48" wide. It looks like a miniature NH rollabar rake. It can be set to either rake or dethatch. Price was $795 and the manufacturer's web site is www.graetzmfg.com.

Swisher unit is ground driven / free spinning like a conventional hay rake. I.e. contact with the crop or the ground spins the wheels.

Only dumb question is the one you don't ask

That is neat looking and I am learning they are a great company to deal with.

Sunday we bought a 2010 model of their ZT2760B mower that had 27 hours put on it before the owner when a got a Kubota that he stated he gave $10K for it.

After I used it for 2 hours yesterday I understood why. I would have to stop from time to time to rest my right arm due to the pressure it took to make it go foward.

I emailed Swisher last night about the issue and today a rep emailed a photo of what needed to be adjusted with arrows and text boxes explaining my options. He also emailed me a "repair" manual for the entire mower as well. I got the owner's manual and all paper work from the owner but this is a set by set trouble shooting guide with color photos.

It is hard to find a USA company building equipment here (MO) and with real experienced support staff.

My take on the seller is he wanted the Kubota from the get go so he was looking for any reason to get what HE wanted.

Northern Tool is a big reseller to their equipment. Northern Tool shipped me a new seat today like Swisher puts on their new PRO-SERIES because our mower came with the standard seat.
