For those among us who might travel occasionally on public roads ,I think for a modest $10/prNAPA makes these convex mirrors that mount neatly on the FEL crossover bar and give a good look at what's behind you. If you are doing a lot of loader work in tight areas they alsowork well to keep you from banging trees or whatever, not to mention keeping tabs on yourpets etc. ....RayBee

Raybee, I had one on my tractor, but as you know "objects in mirror are closer than they appear". I finally took it off and threw it away and replaced it with a 4" x 6" flat mirror that I thought was MUCH better. However, those concave mirrors are certainly a lot better than nothing./w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

Bird:I agree that the convex mirrors won't help you identify what modelauto is closing in on you,/w3tcompact/icons/hmm.gif but you can spot traffic behind you. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif At close up work in woods or near buildings these mirrors seem to amplify the obstructions /w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gif and warn you quickly of impending harm. /w3tcompact/icons/crazy.gif /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif ....RayBee

Yep, my primary reason for putting the mirrors on mine was so I didn't get a sore neck from constantly turning to look back when I was on public roads./w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

Great idea. I'm always looking behind me to watch out for kids and pets. A mirror could add an extra margin of safety. I thought about adding a backup alarm, but my kids and pets would just ignore that anyway. These mirrors will be one more way to one-up my neighbor /w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif

As you can see in the pix, the view from the operator's seat isgreat. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif Notice the BH stabilizers, one in each mirror./w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif It helps to guide the BH around trees /w3tcompact/icons/eyes.gif when backing or could be helpful when using a trailer or carryall. /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif ....RayBee
