dont forget to look at bushhog brand of tillers. I have one with 40 inch with slipclutch and love it on the BX. I have gone through clay, dirt, rocks, wild vines etc no problem.

When I had my 2005 Kubota B7510HST, my rototiller was a used 48" Yanmar RS1200 ($300 at my local grey market tractor dealer).

If you're on a budget, this is one inexpensive way to go.

I picked up a 53" Yanmar RS1303 for $200, and added $200 worth of tines. It works great. I have to agree with flusher, if you're on a budget, this is a good way to go. If you can afford new, the KK is well-regarded here, as others have said.

New tiller--right on---go for it.

The MF-135 is in my shop awaiting oil leak repairs.

Right now I'm up to my ears restoring a 1951 Minneapolis Moline BF tractor. The engine is in the machine shop for a rebuild.

And planting season is coming soon---6 acres of oat hay this year. Plowing starts in Oct as soon as the fire season is over.

Didn't know there was a bush hog brand but when I googled it their HQ in Selma, AL popped up. Turns out, if I bought the tiller from them direct it would cost $1900 but then the lady put me through to a dealer very close to home and he said he could get me one for $1400. This brand sounds like it's up there with a land pride. I haven't compared the two yet but I will soon. Thanks.

Thanks but I think it's starting to look like it's between a land pride or a bush hog only because I want to buy new and keep it forever with minimal maintenance.
