jimmyj,
not good. Two and out for cadet greco-roman. cadet freestyle starts today. The cadet squad for team Missouri finished 18th as opposed to last year's 8th place finish. Hopefully they do better today-Saturday. How's the great pumpkin doing ? 300 hours yet ?

Too bad but half the fun is being there. When I was in high school I was a pretty tall lanky fella (6'3" and only about 175lbs in those days, wish I still weighed a little more like that but that was too skinny:D). The wrestling coach ALWAYS used me for demonstrations of holds and stuff. :D:D

I'm just under 140 hours on the GP now my good man. Love this tractor.

Good luck on the next matches!

jimmyj,
Thanks ole friend. How do you get that 6'3" frame on and off the great pumpkin so easily without banging your head on something ?

dex3361,
Thank you for your kind words sir.

Oh, I hit my head pretty regularly. On everything you could imagine. You sorta get used to it (and my head of pretty hard due to my German heritage)!!

Fellow TBN lovers,
Wow. What more can I say but wow. I had no idea so many of you actually cared as to my whereabouts and silence from TBN. radioman, jimmyj and thavil (sir), thank you for the kind words in my absence. I truly appreciate it. No, I'm not in trouble for digging holes in base housing, I've just been a little busy. I'll get back to where I've been in a minute;

Welcome to the world of TBN, the diggin was a joke - however I know i would try! heh!

LBrown59,
What do I have to do to earn your respect. I have the same tractor as you, the same dog as you and the same attitude as you. You are one tough cookie.

Don't worry about him- he is in a class by himself, he will come around someday. ;)

To the rest of TBN,
Please excuse my ranting and raving. I've checked the TBN message boards every day since I arrived in Fargo and can't believe I missed my own thread when it was at the top.

Just stumbled onto this thread this morning. Love what you did to the 1860, MT. Needs some chrome wheels on it. Keeps the pics coming cause I know you'll do more to it. Actually I can't wait to see what you do when get something bigger like an L series. A turret mounted sprayer atop the cab perhaps?

Did my basic at Fort Lost-In-The-Woods, Misery. Retired in '03.

cowboy357,
Long time no see stranger. Is it raining as much in Kansas as it is here in MIssouri ? Thanks for the intel on the chrome paint but I think I'm done trickin out my tractor.

Donkey Shade Farm,
Thanks for the compliments on my baby bota. Don't go giving me more ideas of what to add to my tractor though because my wife wil kill me. FT Leonard Wood hasn't changed since you left. A new PX and base housing renovations is pretty much it. Congratuulations on your retirement and thank you for serving.

radioman,
How could anyone not appreciate your sense of humor. I'll have plenty of pics to post when I start on the fishpond. Give ma a couple of months.

jimmyj,
I share your pain. Although I'm three inches shorter than you, I've banged my head on my tractor a few times myself. I'm up to a whopping 14 hours of seat time by the way.

cowboy357,
You ain't kiddin. I'm biting at the chomp ! I yearn for the day to get 8-hours of seat time in one sitting. I made up my mind today that I'm committing myself to a rear blade and a seed/salt spreader attachment. Just have to wait on the next few paychecks. Thanks Bob.

Cyclone Jake,
You of all people should know that Cadet/Junior Nationals is going on in Fargo right now and this is where I've been (read my signature line one more time Mr Iowa County of Iowa and you might realize what time of the year it is for the sport of wrestling). My youngest son who wrestles for Team Missouri has been busting his butt for the past seven days at the biggest wrestling event in the United States and I drove 14 hours to support him and his team mates. Every year at this event, the big ones come back and give free autographs, motivation speeches, and one on one pep talks to our nations future leaders. Dan Gable, Cale Sanderson and Rulon Garner to name a few. How dare you call me out on this forum. Are you a transplant to Iowa or did you simply play basketball in HS when everyone else in Iowa wrestled ? Everyone in the wrestling world knows Iowa develops the country's top wrestlers. You are pathetic my friend but I still wish you the very best.

MissouriThunder

Where the heck did this come from? People were posting that they didn't know why you weren't replying, and I only was trying to let them know you were still around. It wasn't meant as disrespect.

And yes, I was born and raised in Iowa and have never lived anywhere else. I went to Iowa State University (Dan Gable's alma mater) at the same time as Cael and was also angry when he decided to take off for greener pastures. I am glad that you support your son so strongly and wish him the best for the future.

Cyclone Jake,
You are correct. I misunderstood your post and I apologize. Just a bit much on the defensive side I must admit. I keep having to remind myself that the TBN crowd is here to give and receive advice of the tractor world. Someone should give me a public tongue lashing cause I deserve it.

I think it's amazing that you went to school with Sanders. ISU is a part of my favorite conference so I like to keep tabs on them.

Yesterday when I was at the county fair I saw a BX1860 and decided that i wanted it. It would even fit in the shed at home! Now I need to save another 10k and I will haul it home. The BX25 TLB price was 15 K. i might get that some day. This means one thing, im gonna have a lot of tractors some day. Then ill send one to the bx owning troops.

U da man and a very thoughtful person.

By the way, how's the drawing of my tractor coming along ? I'd still like to see it.

Great. Looking forward to seeing all your pictures tomorrow. That sure is one wiked looking Kabota. Minus the colors it looks a lot like your tractor. Wish I had tracks instead of tires. :) :) :)
