How do they look? The first picture is my favorite. The second one is the original one I've talked about.

Johndeere3720,
Wow ! These drawings are truly amazing. You are a very talented young man. It's pretty obvious you are an advanced illustrator and your work shows it. I like them all. Thank you.

1*They are very nice. Great talent.
2*Mine too. In fact i'd love to see it made into a postage stamp.

I wonder what it would take to do that?

Hmmmm.....well if you want my opinion.....I think a John Deere would be better on a USA postage stamp than a Kubota. :D .....however I guess there is no USA made CUT John Deere's anymore.....just names.

Therefore: I would support a US postage stamp of any tractor you choose.....so long as its made in the USA. ;)

foggy1111,
Are there any tractor manufacturers left in the U.S.A. that make American made tractors ? I too agree that if Jacob starts a grass root movement to get a tractor on a postage stamp it should be an Amercian made tractor. Unfortunately, there aren't any more left. Just like the car industry, parts for our tractors (John Deere included) are made in India, Mexico, Japan and a plethora of other countries where it's cost effective for Amercian tractor companies to by their parts from these countries and merely assemble their tractors here.

I hope someone can correct me on this. The only way to get a pure, American made tractor on a postage stamp would be to use a photo of a tractor from the 60's (at the latest, sorry LBrown) as that was the era when a Case, Allis Chambes, or a FarmAll were all manufactured and made in the United States. I left John Deere off the list because I was always told their parts have always come from Mexico.
