polo1665,
I took the photos right after I let the jack down. At first I too was a bit worried but the tech guy at the craft shop said to go for a spin in the grass and dirt behind the building. When I came back he noticed that the gap between tire and fender increased quite a bit. I'm not sure what made the difference but it definately made a difference.

I didn't take a yard stick to it but I'd say it's a 1/2" to 3/4" now. Also, I had the rear tires loaded before I put them on ($1.75 a gallon and boy are they heavy). Not sure if that's the difference between mine and bp's but I still love the new look none the less.

bpfick wrote - Another explanation, Mark, might be that MT has his R4's all pimped up, er, pumped up with like 80 lbs. to make them look even bigger.

bpfick,
You're right. The guy at the MFA shop who filled them estimated between 75-85 pounds per tire. It took two guys to throw them into the back of my pickup. :D :D :D When it was all said and done last night I filled the FEL with gravel and had the two tech guys stand on the rear blade and the tractor wasn't even close to squatting down on the tires.

Mine are not loaded. I use removable weights. No doubt loading added a wee bit of circumference to MTs.

But there is one more possibility here. Didn't the dealership tell you there were two BX1860 sizes, MT? You may have gotten the smaller version. Bwaaaaaaaagh!!!:D:D:D

I wouldn't be the least bit concerned. Shaving a 3/4" off that tin would get you all you'd ever want. Frankly, I am not sure it wouldn't look better, as the radius of the curve would be contiguous. But again, not necessary.

I'd think you'd have a tough time squatting those R4s.

MT & BP

Can't believe you guys have not run to your K-dealer to get these chrome wheel covers!:):D This is the only pic on the Kubota website that I have seen them.
