Neighbor has a D1850 that will run great until the engine warms up, then it looses power. The engine will start and rev fine, is not using oil but when you put it under a load it will power out. Only does it when warmed up, it will not loose power if under a load when cold. Perliminary checks show everything visible are good. Any ideas?

We need a little more information on what kind of preliminary checks you have done. My first thought is the fuel cap may not be venting as it should. By the time the engine gets warm there is a vacuum in the tank, holding back fuel delivery. Warm it up and open the cap. Let us know if it makes a difference.

#1 symptom of a dirty fuel filter.

Thanks folks, I meantioned the filter to him and he couldn't remember the last filter change. Never thought about the fuel cap. Really just wanted to know if there was anything common with mechanical parts. I appreciate the advice.
