Buying Advice MK5000

It looks like our MX5000, MX5100, etc. If it is, it's one of the best tractors Kubota every made and is wildly popular around here. I don't know of any problems and sure don't have any with mine.

Great tractors. Load tires, AND add wheel weights if you get an fel... they are way light in the butt...

Yes getting a FEL with it, will take your advice and make sure there is plenty of weight on the back end

if it is the same as the MX series, i once owned a MX5000 for a while. although bare bones (clutch operated shuttle shift, syncro in 3rd/4th gears only) i found it a rock solid machine somewhere between CUTS and the M series ag tractors. i agree on rear ballast best regards

The MK is the Euroean version of th MX. It has the EU smog stuff and they state it only puts out 48.8HP as opposed to 50HP for the MX. Not sure you would notice the difference. Why not check out the MX prices and compare?

Different enough to knock 1.2HP off essentially the same turbocharged engine.
