MMM and a cutter

Picked up a used Woods cutter(M-40) , how can I use it without removing the MMM? Make brackets to hold it up or just let it ride along the ground ? dass

My 914A mmm has pins that will lock it in the uppermost position which allows me to raise and lower the 3ph without affecting the mmm.
