Grading MMM Blade Bolt size

Does someone know the size of socket that fits the BX2350 to remove the blades? I have to sharpen the ones on my Dads and don't have a clue on the size socket.

My BX2350 used a 30mm for the blade bolts. Traded for a 2360 and the bolts on the new one are larger. I used a 1-1/4 for the new one. You better check yours for the size.

ditto- I have both 30mm socket and 1 1/4 socket. I find the 30 mm fits and feels better. I use a impact gun to install/remove so the blades doesnt spin around.

tip: when you remove the blades, take the cup off too. look inside the cup for strings, grass wrapped around shaft and debris.
