I have a 60 MMM mower and would like to know if any one has ever moved the Back set of wheels Back about 2 in.

I think this would let the wheels rotate 360 deg and make the changing of the deck a lot easier??/
this is for a GC2310..

Have you tried using the loader to lift the front wheels off the ground? Then you can pull it under the front wheels. A dealer suggested this to me when I was looking at a different brand.

The mower has to be shoved under side ways and the rear wheels are locked into a forward setting and will not trun

The problm I am wonder about is the lenght of the wheels and will they clear rear tire .. guess the only way to know is to do it ..

Sorry about that, I misunderstood. I did not realize that the rear wheels are fixed.

Good luck,

Doug, I too have the 60 inch MMM (and a garage with relatively smooth, flat concrete floor). I push the discharge side in first, at an angle, then go around the other side, pull the whole deck back (perpindicular) to the tractor, and finish sliding it into place. As you know, this has to be done carefully to clear the hydraulic filter and one of the collars on the steering mechanism (can't quite remember if that's what it is but I'm guessing you know what I'm referring to). It takes some jockeying, but haven't had to raise the tractor or make other adjustments to get it to fit. I have the turf tires, if that makes any difference...

Good luck!

I looked at the 60 inch mower today. It looks like you can spin the rear wheels if you pull the pins? Will this work?

Yes U can pull the pins and the wheel will turn about 1/4 rotation and the is stopped buy the deck from turning any more so this is the problm ...

I will be trying to lenghtn the bracket..

Thanks for trying DougM

I made a couple ramps for mine and drive up over the top of the mower. That 60" mower is a monstrosity to move around.

Not quite sure how you MMM is set up but in my book for my Kubota B7800 it says to turn the little stationary wheel so that it will roll sideways from the tractor and then to drop the roller in the back to its lowest setting. It isn't bad at all to roll out even on the ground. I put mine on last night in about 5 minutes or so.
Good luck
