MMM Removal

   / MMM Removal #21
I picked up my still crated MMM a week after I took delivery of my BX23 and the manual came packaged with the MMM. Your dealer may have misplaced it when he uncrated the MMM, you definitely should have a separate manual on the MMM.

Disconnecting the MMM shaft is the last thing I disconnect when removing the MMM and it's the 1st thing I connect when I mount the MMM.
In either case it only takes a moment or two.

</font><font color="blue" class="small">( Can you maybe describe the technique you use? )</font>

I have a couple of LONG descriptions in the archives somewhere. Give me a day or two to dig them up and post links to them.

BTW, that's disappointing to hear about the 1850. Guys with no FEL must really be unhappy. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif Then having to keep it on while mowing (or take time to remove it) is a real pain too! I have a quick stroke hydraulic jack I used to use (along with an electric impact wrench) to do fast changes between my turf and R4 tires (a la Nascar pit crew). Maybe that'd be useful when doing MMM on/off. Just put an extra support under the axle so the tractor can't slip off the jack! /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

I would appreciate it, if you can find the time.

This is nearly identical to the BX1500, according to other posts I've seen in the past. Perhaps if you search for that string, you'd get some other bright ideas.
