MMM Removal

Boy, I wish I had your technique and finesse. I put my 60" on my BX2230 last night, for the very first time. Putting the PTO shaft on was, by far, the hardest part. But, once it made up its mind to give up the fight, it went right on. I have no idea what I did differently. Can you maybe describe the technique you use?

I have no manual, and my deck wheels don't rotate. I have the 48" deck, so they may not be on that deck. I wish I knew the numbers off the top of my head for the deck. But, it is a 48" I actually believe it is the "fine cut" deck. I am going to attempt a removal this weekend just for $*#'s and giggles.

Kubota must be out of MMM manuals for the BX-1850s because they did not givem one either...Regardless, the job has to be easier then playing with a John Deere MMM-that was terrible!

My dealer show me to split the MMM PTO shaft in two Male/Female. Before you be start, put the Coler & half shatf on the PTO, slide the deck & mate the two shaft. Removing is in reverse. Do not forget to remove the half MMM shaft on the PTO. hope it helps someone.

My dealer show me to split the MMM PTO shaft in two Male/Female. Before you be start, put the Coler & half shatf on the PTO, slide the deck & mate the two shaft. Removing is in reverse. Do not forget to remove the half MMM shaft on the PTO. hope it helps someone.

The BX1850 has a design flaw.........Due to the smaller tires you MUST use the FEL or jack up the tractor to remove the mower. I am quite disapointed in this as my BX1500 would roll out easily without lifting the tractor. I think the BX2250 is high enough to allow the mower to roll out without lifting the tractor.
