(Almost a year later) Lowes has a 5gallon pal listed for $70

I've noticed Lowes often lists something they don't have for an old price. I think maybe it shows up better in the search engines. So you go to their site, and buy something else.

The Lowes website is so horrible, that I simply do not shop at their stores, ever.

It is truly amazing to me that in the year 2024, Lowes cannot figure out how to let you search for products that are actually physically present in their stores in a functional, efficient manner.

I was at Tractor Supply late today and asked the manager why the shortage of Delvac tractor hydraulic fluid. He said he had noticed that too and would have an opportunity to ask the right people on Monday.

I was over 200 miles away a couple days ago visiting friends in TN and none in stock there.

Mobile 424 is a mix of 20C and 20D (20D is the cold-weather version of 20C). The hassle is getting pails and buckets of 20D in most places since 20D is a cold-weather trans oil. I run 20C and it works fine in warm areas but I wish I could get 20D for winter.

I just used a bunch of my mobile 424 yesterday after a filter change, so was going to pick up another pail.

Any reason you wouldn't just run that?

I just did my 550h service on my TYM T474, and I put in Mobil Delvac Tractor Fluid. My HST was soo much quieter and smoother.

I bought mine from Amazon.

It was 3rd party, but did some research and the vendor was a distributor in the Midwest IIRC. Seems they no longer sell on Amazon, but it is available from other sellers. Ymmv.
