I don't get it. All covers are off, steering wheel back, radiator out, and, mistakenly, I tried to remove the fan, but stopped when the 90w dumped out.

How do I get the main belt loose, so I can replace the generator belt? Anybody, please?

Sorry. Deere.
I found the hole in the fan/pulley shaft, just behind the large nut on same. I dropped a large nail thru it, that wedged against the fan/pulley frame, and let me back off that nut,
and get the main belt free. (looks like I need a new one of that, too).

So what kind of oil goes back in the fan-pulley assembly, 90w? I see a small screw in the body, fill hole?

Might be better off asking this question in the Vintage John Deere thread.
