for those in drought areas. and needing to maintain fire brake lines. would a disc plow, with some extra weight on it or a specific setting be a good option for them? we are talking areas were small saplings might be, to various bushes, and like. and the need to simply put everything into the dirt. to stop and/or slow down a wild fire.
with a moldboard plow / bottom plow / turning plow (take your pick in name) there tends to be "trash lines" as you come to end of a line, you need to pickup / lift up the bottom plow before making a 180 degree turn or even a 90 degree turn or any sharp turn. how well do the disc plows handle the end of line doing. along with how well do they handle sharper turning and breaking something (3pt hitch stuff) to simply the discs themselves as you go into turns?
