I have read the threads on the bolt on and molly forks available. Most of that information is generic, and I was specifically looking for kioti owners who have purchased or used these pallets forks on their tractors. Although most FEl buckets are similar, they are not identical. For that reason alone I did not post this in the attachment section.

The QA forks seem too cost prohibitive for my limited use of them. The bolt on/chain on kind are much more reasonable, but I am concerned about their usefulness and sideways movement.

As a rule, I do not want to use the 3ph with a carryall/pallet forks. My 45 has enough lift there, but not the reach I need. This will mainly be used for pulling pallets off my pickup, or off delivery trucks. Nothing too heavy, mostly things that I wouldn't want to lift, or get some friends to help lift. For the purpose of providing additional information to the gurus, I will mainly be doing pallets of wood, pellets, and drums (filled). I think, without looking, the 45 has about 2820 worth of lift - the bucket..

As always, thank you for any input.

After using the bolt-on forks I would never want them. I bought the QA forks from Horning Pallet Forks in Mifflinburg and paid $580. I've used them already to move a big quail pen and they worked great. Takes about 30 seconds to put them on and they are very well made. I like the fact that they are built right there in Mifflinburg, you can watch while they are being made.

I just bought 2 Molly Forks off ebay for around $140, including binders. The forks are rated for 3000 lbs.

Since UPS lost the first two binders, and I just got the replacements, I have only had a chance to check out the fork's fit on my LK130 FEL. I would have liked a better general Fork fit with the profile of the Kioti FEL, but with the binders and chains in place, I don't think there will be a problem.

I mostly got it to be able to get a KK rototiller off of a trailer, since my local KK dealer does not deliver. I'll try it out tomorrow when I get a culvert pipe delivered.

If you did some research, then you know that the FEL lift capacity is reduced as the load gets farther away from the FEL. So while your FEL may have 2900 lbs. of lift capacity, with forks, it will be less.

I am presently using a set of Paynes Forks. I have used them to move pallets, large stones in landscaping, logs and brush. They have worked well for me, worth looking at.

I would save my money and buy a set of 48" QA forks.
It's worth doing without until you can get them.

wow 570 for payne forks and the stabilizer bar. I guess I'll save up the loot and get some QA ones at that cost.

besides, if I get the QA ones, I won't have to lose any lift ability from extending forks from the bucket.

Thanks for the information. seems 50 - 50, 2 for 2 against.

No chance of hurting the bucket either

I'll tip the scales for ya, go QA you will not regret it. I've got the HD Woods forks, amazingly strong. I've popped out small stumps, rocks with 'em along with normal fork duty.

I think it also depends on frequency of use.

I use mine once in a while to move pallets, lawn tractors, my box blade, etc.

Here's some pictures of my homemade forks.

They work excellent for me.

I've got about $40 into the two of them.

I would not use bucket lip mount forks without a nice cutting edge on the bucket, otherwise I'd be affraid of bending the bucket edge which is something you don't ever want to do.
