HI PA,
with a DK45 I would go with the skidsteer type forks. They are a little more expensive, but have a lot more strenght and they are adjustable.
I sell a lot of the clamp-ons from 1000 to 2000lb capacity on tCK series tractors. On the DK series I always sell the skidsteer mounted. With the loader capacity you have you will be tempted to try to pick-up heavier loads and I don't think the clamp-ons are stable enough to be safe at a ton or more. You will be a lot happier with the true forks with fence.
You should be able to get a good 3500lb set for around $800 or so.
