I am new to this website. I own a Montana 2840 and it's been completely reliable. I use to be a heavy equipment mechanic and if anyone has any questions about my tractor let me know. Thank you.

Welcome to TBN. I have a Montana 2844, very similar to your 2840. Love my Montana, very happy I found it when I was tractor shopping.

Let me see if I can find it. If I am lucky, it will be in the tube holder on the fender. If not, I'll have to go hunting for it.

I downloaded a parts manual for my 2844 here. They have parts diagrams for a few Montana models.

That would be great if you had the operators manual. I just want to confirm the fluid types and quantities for each location on the tractor. I would like to change them all since I bought it used and don't know the last time any were changed. Thanks for the parts list. I appreciated it!

I checked the tube on the fender, and no manual. I know I have seen it recently, but I will have to hunt for it.

When I bought my 2844 I did a complete fluid change. Found all the filters using NAPA's filter website. Automotive Filters | NAPA Filters. They list a over a 20 Montana tractors. They are listed under Off-Highway Equipment. Lists oil, fuel, air and hydraulic filters. All were an exact match for my tractor.
