Just curious for opinions. I have a Montana 3040, and a cirrus(sp?) 6 ft finish mower. Bought last may, and have had no problem with either. Today I lifted the mower up a few inches to go over a hose, and then after mowing for a minute looked back and the mower never went back down. I lifted it more thinking it was just stuck and now it is way high and wont go back down. All levers are all the way down, and it will go even higher if I lifted it more, but when I put the lever down, nothing, not even any noise like something is trying to work. I know I will have to call the dealer in town to come get it and fix it, just curious if anyone has any ideas, it could very easily be something simple, and I dont know where to look. I can do anything drivewise with my little MT, but I know nothing about working on it and that type of thing. (yes, I am a girl (beside checking fluids, although I usually dont, it went in for its first 50 hour checkup/tuneup in Nov. And I didnt use much in winter except for cleaning 4 stalls a day, so I have to be honest and say I havent checked anything since then. Just dont have a clue why it would still be working to go up as high as I ask, but cant come down?
