Montana tractor no hydraulics

Have a 2010 Montana and was on a slight grade and the front end hydraulic stopped working could sometimes give it a lot of throttle and make it move now the front end or rear attachments will work any ideas as the problem to dealer close to me anymore

Have you checked the hydraulic fluid? Looks like it might be too low and the pump is sucking air.

Yes sir checked level had a shade tree mechanic look and he said he thought the pump was working but bypassing the control is that possible

Is oil cloudy after using. Is it milky before using how long since service
Did he run a flow check on pump
Is pump getting warm right away
Does it whine? Give more details

Don't know much about your tractor but first thing I would not do is trust a dip stick. Fill it to the top. All it will do is blow out the excess if you don't stop up the vent. Had a backhoe that gave me the fits till I realized the markings were off and I was not even half covering the pickup tube.
